Contemporary painting: Iridescent Blue Fragmented Burst.
This painting features a fragmented blue spiral, built up by successive layers of material applied with a knife. The center seems to concentrate energy, while the circles widen towards the edges, like a wave or vibration frozen in the material.
Blue, with its iridescent reflections, evokes the depth of water or the infinity of sky. It conveys a sense of dense calm, of silent concentration. The surrounding black accentuates the sensation of contrast and reinforces the effect of relief.
This work attracts the eye and holds it, without being intrusive. It will find its place in a meditation space, a contemporary interior or a workplace, where it can create a strong, soothing visual breath.
