Work Animal :
The Animal series brings together works in which animal figures become a field of graphic and intuitive exploration. Far from naturalistic representation, these paintings offer a symbolic and expressive reading: stylised silhouettes, vibrant contours, spirals, and dotted patterns that reveal an inner movement within the form. Each figure appears either as an enigmatic presence or as an energy in expansion. Colour carries much of the expressive weight: intense reds, deep blues, violet shades or iridescent tones heighten the emotional character of each piece. Whether it is an owl drawn with swirling lines, a seahorse built on dynamic curves, or a simple bird in silhouette, every composition emphasises vitality and the distinct pulse of these creatures. he series offers a free interpretation of the animal world, somewhere between abstraction, instinct, and imagination.
Techniques and materials :
The paintings of the Animal series are created using acrylic on cotton canvas stretched on a wooden frame. Brushes are used to shape the backgrounds and colour zones, while acrylic markers form the fine lines, decorative motifs, and pointillism that structure the graphic rhythm. ome artworks rely on fluid, spontaneous gestures; others on denser constructions depending on the subject and the intended atmosphere. Each piece is protected with an acrylic spray varnish, enhancing the brightness, depth, and durability of the colours.
