The Movements of Colors series is built around a simple idea: giving visible form to circulating energy. The compositions unfold in waves, oscillations and smooth trajectories that evoke breath, emergence, vibration. Lines follow the movement of color across the canvas, creating an almost organic sense of motion. The shades flow into one another,fiery gradients, deep blues, violet variations or sharper contrasts. Pointillism, applied with precision, amplifies these shifts and enhances the impression of continuous movement. Each painting reads like a flow, a transition, a chromatic impulse where the light within the colors follows its own path. This series offers a sensitive approach to color, not fixed, but alive, expanding, in constant evolution.
Techniques and materials :
The works in the Movements of Colors series are created on cotton canvas stretched over a wooden frame. Most compositions are made primarily with acrylic markers, used to draw the lines and pointillism that structure the piece and give it rhythm. he gradients are shaped directly with the finger, blending two wet colors to form soft, organic transitions. Some paintings in the series also use a brush for applying and blending the colors. Each piece is protected with an acrylic spray varnish, ensuring brightness, durability and depth of tone.
