Contemporary sculpture Abstract totem
Between power and calm, this sculpture plays on the balance between the verticality of wood and the softness of light.
Hand-carved from limewood, the form rises like an organic column, marked by hollows and curves that evoke the natural growth of a living being. The base, also carved, houses an LED light embedded in the resin, diffusing a warm halo that sublimates the grain and depth of the wood.
The notches tell the story of the dialogue between raw material and artistic intent - a work of patience in which the human hand leaves its imprint in the fiber of the living being.
The totem stands as a silent presence, both sculpture and source of light, conveying energy and serenity.
