Forged from an old chain and a clutch disc, reassembled by arc welding, it embodies the idea of transformation: giving a second life to matter, rebirthing what was purely utilitarian into a meaningful object.
The spiral, the central motif of the work, symbolises continuity and life in motion. It wraps itself around the light as if to protect its breath, in a tension between balance and energy.
The rough texture of the metal, deliberately preserved, is in dialogue with the warmth of the central bulb, creating a presence that is both industrial and almost organic.
An interior work, this piece combines the power of iron with the delicacy of gesture, where the light becomes an extension of the metal, like a visible beat.
