Horseshoe ornament
This wall sculpture combines strength and lightness in a play of curves and materials. Arc-welded from horseshoes, cowhoes and hand-forged scrolls, it combines the rigor of metal with the fluidity of almost aerial movement.
The forged lines seem to spread wings, evoking luck, protection and momentum. Each element retains the traces of craftsmanship - a living texture, raw and masterful.
The linseed oil and turpentine finish protects the metal while imparting a deep, natural patina.
Designed to hang on the wall, this work exudes a strong, symbolic presence, halfway between decorative art and expressive sculpture.
