Gradient Square

The paintings in the Square Gradient series are created with acrylic paint on bleached cotton canvas stretched over a wooden frame. The surface is shaped using a palette knife, following a steady movement that forms a concentric square gradient from the center outward. The generous application of paint produces a textured relief that captures light and enhances the sense of depth. Vivid and iridescent tones are selected for their contrasts and shifting reflections, giving each composition its own dynamic balance. A glossy aerosol varnish is applied as a final layer, protecting the surface while emphasizing the brilliance of the hues and the richness of the material.
